Diverse cultures represented by our employee body |
|
As a small, dynamic, and fast growing technology manufacturer Princetel offers its employees more than a place to earn a living.
It provides a path to a fulfilling career and a low-stress life style. Here the typical high-stress and complex political corporate environment seem to
disappear and is replaced with a refreshing fair and caring atmosphere.
Employees are motivated by doing what they do best without close supervision. Everyone is encouraged to voice his or her
opinion. The company has attracted engineers and technicians in the fields of
optical science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, and operations engineering. Manufacturing crew comes
from all walks of life, such as nurse, assembler, and teacher. We are also proud to be represented by
people with diverse national/cultural backgrounds such as US, China, Poland, Mexico, Grenada, Morocco, Algeria, Colombia,
Philippines, Italy, Haiti, Pakistan, Jamaica, and Vietnam.
Human resource is a company's most valuable asset whether its management realizes it or not. At Princetel it is far more than a slogan. Individuals
are treated with utmost respect since we know a happy employee serves the customer better. Family lives and individual needs take priority over company
business interests. We understand that people come to work in order to have a good life at home. Princetel is the proud winner of NJBiz' 100 Best Places to Work
in 2013.
A company does not have to be large to operate professionally. Princetel is exceptional in that regard from its early days. The following are a few examples:
OPERATION: An advanced client-based ERP system manages every step of the production flow, all aspects of customer relationships, day-to-day bookkeeping,
and executive reporting;
HUMAN RESOURCE: A professional web-enabled payroll/human resource system, full health coverage including dental and vision, and Safe Harbor 401K plan
(3% company contribution to all employees including those who do not contribute themselves);
FACILITY: Located in the Art and Culture District of Hamilton Township, the facility is a rare eye-catching "museum quality" local landmark.
The 2011 renovation was entirely designed to keep its
occupants healthy and comfortable and yet maintain an extremely low carbon footprint.
The 45,000 sqft facility features a great array of earth and people friendly technologies such as 100% fresh air (no circulation) with
humidity control and energy recapturing,
rain water harvesting, solar power, and solar water heater. The building received LEED Platinum Certification on 10/20/2014, the first industrial building ever to reach that level in the state of
New Jersey!
Management's true devotion to employee welfare has resulted in a clean zero-employee-turnover record
in its first 12 years of operation (as of June 2012)*. The company also holds high standards on social
responsibility. Profits can be, and often are, sacrificed for social good. Continuously reducing the company's carbon footprint drives all
aspects of its daily operation.
Given the high rate of growth we will almost always have
room for highly motivated people in areas such as manufacturing. So if you believe in social responsibility
and group harmony, if you enjoy and are good at hand work (experience in optical fiber related work is a plus)
send us your resume. This might just be the career path you've been looking for.
* As a comparison, in the U.S., for the same period,
the average total non-farm seasonally adjusted monthly turnover rate was 3.3%. That would translate to an annual turnover rate of 33% and greater than 98%
over 10 year period.
