FORJ: Multi-channel fiber optic rotary joint (RJn series, SM & MM) |
|
The RJn model multi-pass Fiberoptic Rotary Joints (FORJs) connect 20-48 independent fiber channels simultaneously.
They allow uninterrupted transmission of optical signals while rotating along the common mechanical axis.
Structurally, the RJn series are similar to Princetel's MJn model FORJs.
So except slightly higher insertion loss all other characters are similar. If low insertion loss is critical, consider combining our smaller models,
such as the MJn, with optical multiplexing.
All channels can accommodate either singlemode or multimode fibers. It is also possible to combine the two types of fibers in one device.
